Zaragoza offers a daytime and nighttime tourist bus and a special service for children

The summer season invites you to travel and discover new cities. It is for this reason that the tourist bus is always one of the most requested services in all of them. And the Aragonese capital is no wonder. In this sense, the Zaragoza City Council has adjusted the schedules that the tourist bus will have during the summer of 2024. In this article we tell you schedules, routes and rates for the Zaragoza tourist bus. 

SCHEDULES

The Zaragoza tourist bus operates every day of the week during the summer months. Its schedule is from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 4:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. The frequency of the bus is every 45 minutes .

RATES

The price of a general ticket for the Zaragoza tourist bus is 8 euros . However, there are a number of discounts for different groups. People over 65 or pensioners , as well as the unemployed, only have to pay 4.80 euros. For people who have a Youth Card , students, people with disabilities or large families, the fare will be 6 euros.

Groups of four people have a fare of 24 euros, while children under 5 years old enter for free . In addition, it is a service that is part of the Zaragoza Family. All vehicles are accessible for people with reduced mobility and have explanations in Spanish, French, English, Italian, German and Chinese . The ticket is valid for 24 hours and allows you to get on and off throughout the day without limit.

Tickets for the tourist bus can be purchased at the Tourist Offices or online . In addition, tickets for general and senior citizens aged 65 can be purchased on the bus. You can also find out about renting the tourist bus for pre-arranged groups.

ROUTE

The tour , which lasts 90 minutes , allows travelers to see the most emblematic places and monuments of the Aragonese capital, passing through the Plaza del Portillo, the Puente del Tercer Mileno or the Expo site , as well as the Aljafería Palace or the historic center of the city.

NIGHT TOURIST BUS

In addition to the daily tourist bus service, Zaragoza is also offering a night bus during these months . This service runs every Saturday in July and August until 14 September. It departs at 9:45 p.m.

MEGABUS FOR CHILDREN

In addition, for children , Zaragoza Tourism offers the Megabús . This proposal presents the city in a fun way. It is a service that operates on Saturdays, June 29 and July 6 , and every day from July 15 until the end of summer. The animation is provided by Professor ZZ Jones, an eminence in Zaragozology who accompanies travelers in a master class where the travelers are her students. Along with this service, families are offered the Divertour , a walk around Plaza del Pilar.

OTHER PROMOTIONS

There are also special promotions available at the Tourist Offices . These include a combined ticket for the daytime tourist bus or Megabús + Acuario Fluvial (18 euros for adults and 14 euros for children), the daytime tourist bus or Megabús + Mobility Museum (14 euros for adults and 11 euros for children) and a 4.5 euro discount at the Amusement Park for each tourist bus or Megabús ticket.

On the other hand, since July 1, services and routes from Tourist Informants on the Street have been offered daily . These offer guided routes through the Historic Center, an Instagrammable Walk and guided tours in English and French.
