The music of Coldplay, Imagine Dragons and Hans Zimmer by candlelight: Candlelight is back

Hans Zimmer ‘s most famous soundtracks, such as ” Inception”, “Gladiator” and “Batman “, the biggest hits by Coldplay and Imagine Dragons and the classics by composer Ludovico Einaudi, will be heard in Zaragoza in the purest “Bridgerton” style, as they will be performed instrumentally by a small quartet. It won’t be just any concert, as the light of dozens of candles will illuminate everything with “Candlelight”, a sensorial, intimate and magical experience that is scheduled for new concerts this summer at the NH Collection Gran Hotel in Zaragoza.

The most famous music from the cinema will resonate harmoniously in the concert “Candlelight: The Best of Hans Zimmer”. A string quartet will play the composer’s best-known themes such as the main songs from “Interstellar”, “The Lion King”, “Dune”, “Gladiator” or “Sherlock Holmes”, among many others. This event will take place on August 30 at 9:00 p.m. at the NH Collection Hotel.

Coldplay and Imagine Dragons will go head to head, although they will do so in a very “special” event in which a string quartet will perform the best-known songs of both groups. “Something Just Like This”, “The Scientist” or “Viva la Vida”, classics by the British band, will follow one another in between songs such as “Radioactive”, “Believer” or “Next to Me”, hits by Imagine Dragons. “Candlelight: Coldplay vs. Imagine Dragons” will take place next Friday, August 30, in two sessions, at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

For true fans of the British rock band, there will be more hits to be enjoyed with “Candlelight: Tribute to Coldplay” taking place on September 8. In two sessions, at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., spectators will be able to listen to a total of eleven songs, including “Sky Full of Stars,” “Fix you” and “Paradise.”

The most classical touch of these original concerts will be provided by the “Tribute to Ludovico” which will be held on 8 September at 5:00 p.m. In this case, the person in charge of playing the pieces by the Italian composer will be the pianist Mateu Peramiquel, who will carry the weight of the entire concert in his fingers. “I Giorni”, “Le Onde”, “Primavera”, “Elegy for the Arctic” and “Nuvole Bianche” are some of the well-known pieces that will be performed at the concert.

Tickets for all these “Candlelight” concerts are now available on the Fever website. Prices range from 17 to 36 euros depending on the area chosen. As a novelty, official photographers can take a photo of you for five euros and you will receive a print of it immediately, and for seven euros more you will enjoy a glass of wine during the concert.
