An interesting way to explore the hidden wonders of Huesca  are these five spectacular  waterfalls in the Aragonese Pyrenees.

Perfect for integrating into your tourism plans in Huesca, these waterfalls form unique natural spaces and are ideal for those seeking  adventure and the tranquility of unexplored landscapes in equal measure. Do you dare to visit them?

Aso waterfall

Among the most spectacular waterfalls  in the Aragonese Pyrenees is the Aso Waterfall , hidden in the depths of the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park.

Located near the historic Hermitage of San Úrbez,  in the impressive Añisclo Canyon, in this waterfall the water falls from a height of more than 30 meters.

Surrounded by a natural environment of lush forests and spectacular rock formations, access is somewhat difficult due to the ramps and the steep terrain, although the truth is that it is worth it.

The sound of falling water and the serenity of the surroundings make this place a perfect refuge for tourism lovers away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Espigantosa waterfall

The Espigantosa Waterfall , located in the Eriste Valley, is one of the hidden treasures of the Aragonese Pyrenees. If you are looking for mountains with waterfalls, this impressive waterfall descends from a height of 20 metres, creating a visual spectacle that is complemented by the green and lush landscape of the Espigantosa ravine.

Surrounded by riparian forests and fir trees, the waterfall creates a serene and refreshing atmosphere, ideal for nature and photography lovers.

A visit to this waterfall is not only an encounter with natural beauty, but also an opportunity to explore the trails and enjoy the tranquility of a valley that, although accessible, has hardly been modified by man.

Gorgol Waterfall is a spectacular destination for those seeking adventure in natural environments and one of the great attractions in the Gorgol Ravine.

Surrounded by a rocky landscape, this 15-metre-high waterfall attracts climbers and canyoners who want to test their skills.

The waterfall, with a crystalline flow, creates an impressive visual spectacle that integrates harmoniously with the roughness of the rocks and the green vegetation that surrounds it.

Lower Orós Waterfall

The Orós Bajo Waterfall , hidden in the Os Lucas ravine near the picturesque village of Orós Bajo , stands as a refreshing oasis in the Tena Valley.

This spectacular waterfall has quickly gained popularity, attracting so many visitors that the Biescas Town Council, to which Orós belongs, had to regulate parking three years ago to control overcrowding.

This waterfall not only impresses with its scenic beauty, but also with the coolness it offers during the warmer months. Its access allows visitors to enjoy not only the impressive view but also the possibility of immersing themselves in its crystal-clear waters , making it an ideal refuge from the summer heat.

The Sorrosal Waterfall , located in the Ordesa Valley and near the charming town of Broto, is a must-see destination for those visiting  Huesca.

Although it is not the highest or the most famous, this waterfall has a unique charm that makes it one of the favorites in the area.

Accessing it is simple: from Broto, simply follow the signs to a path that, after about 300 meters, will take you directly to the waterfall.

The path meanders along a stream, flanked by lush vegetation and rocks eroded by the passage of water, which adds a magical touch to the route.

In addition to its natural beauty, the Sorrosal Waterfall has a remarkable geological significance. It is located in an environment formed by the action of a glacier and during the tour it is even possible to find aquatic fossils.
