It is no secret that Aragon is a land of good food, as evidenced by the numerous restaurants, bars and establishments dedicated to traditional cuisine. With a focus on traditional food, Guía Repsol has selected 18 Aragonese restaurants to join the Soletes con Solera collection.

In its tenth edition, the Repsol Guide distinction exceeds 4,400 awards across the country, of which 226 are from Aragon. From restaurants, bakeries, wineries or traditional bars, these are the new restaurants with the Solete con Solera distinction from the Repsol Guide in Aragon:

DOMINO HOUSE, IN ZARAGOZA

Casa Dominó, located in Plaza de Santa Marta, is an emblematic bar in Zaragoza with more than 30 years of history. It is famous for being the place where the “montadito de jamón picada” was invented, whose sauce is one of the establishment’s great secrets. This Solete con Solera from the Repsol Guide offers an authentic gastronomic experience in the heart of Zaragoza ‘s Old Town.

THE CYCLONE, IN ZARAGOZA

El Ciclón, located in Plaza Nuestra Señora del Pilar, has revitalized Zaragoza’s most emblematic passage. This restaurant has returned to its roots with a menu and set menus that highlight traditional stews, using local and seasonal products. El Ciclón offers a culinary experience that combines tradition with the freshness of local ingredients.

FANTOBA, IN ZARAGOZA

Fantoba, located on Don Jaime I street, is one of Zaragoza’s most classic bakeries. Founded by the Fantoba brothers in 1856, this establishment has kept its doors open ever since, becoming an icon of Zaragoza’s pastry making. Its specialties include Nice fruits and guirlache, offering visitors an authentic taste of the city’s pastry tradition.

L’ALBADA, IN ZARAGOZA

AWAY, IN ALCAÑIZ

GUADALOPE, IN ALCAÑIZ

The restaurant at the Hotel  Guadalope, located in Alcañiz’s Plaza de España, is an establishment that has earned its Solete con Solera Guía Repsol award for being an old inn converted into a hotel with views of Alcañiz’s Gothic square. Its traditional cuisine stands out with innovative touches and a menu that highlights local products from Bajo Aragón, such as olive oil, ham and peaches from Calanda. 

CASALDUC OVEN, IN VALDERROBRES
