Flying like a bird at over 180 km/h is possible in the Aragonese Pyrenees. The sensation of speed, the adrenaline rushing through your body and the impressive landscape make ziplining one of the most intense experiences for lovers of adventure tourism. If you add to this a route of over 2 kilometres over the valleys of the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park, the result is an unforgettable experience.

That’s what the Tirolina Ordesa Pirineos offers, the fastest zip line in the world, which is back in operation on March 1. Located between Jaca and Aínsa, in the heart of the Huesca Pyrenees, this attraction allows speeds of up to 189 km/h to be reached, making it a world reference. In addition, it can be enjoyed alone or as a couple, which makes it even more special.

The Ordesa Pirineos zip line is one of the great jewels of adventure tourism in Huesca. With a length of 2,036 metres, a gradient of 400 metres and an average incline of 20%, this impressive structure allows speeds of between 130 and 160 km/h to be reached under normal conditions. However, under optimal circumstances and with the right equipment, the world record of 189 km/h has been achieved , thanks to the use of an aerodynamic suit and a braking parachute.

In addition to the flight, the experience includes a series of additional services that make it an even more complete activity. Participants access the departure platform by a 4×4 climb, enjoying the spectacular views of the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park before the descent. At the finish, a terrace area allows family and friends to witness the adventurers’ landing. Free parking is also available and, as a souvenir, each visitor receives a photograph of their flight, accessible through a QR code.
