The Aramón Group resorts are preparing for an exciting season finale. On Sunday, April 20, the Cerler and Formigal-Panticosa resorts will close their doors until July before the summer season begins. To say goodbye in style, they have prepared a week of sports competitions, activities for children, and musical events.
The Benasque Valley resort will host the fourth Inter-School Trophy on Thursday, April 10th, where thirteen ski schools will compete in an exciting race to win the trophy for best school. On April 12th, renowned freeskier Javi Lliso will visit Cerler for Camp Javi Lliso. This event will offer riders the opportunity to learn from one of the best in the freestyle world, with a focus on technical skills and physical and mental preparation.
This weekend, the legendary club will host the Mamut Trophy on the Tubo de Cogulla slope. This event is aimed at children, ages 3 to 7, who will take their first steps in alpine competition in a fun and welcoming environment.
The Villa de Sallent Trophy will also be held , with Slalom and Giant Slalom competitions for the Under-14 and Under-16 categories. These races , which will be held in the Tres Hombres area, will count toward the Aragón championship and will feature between 150 and 180 skiers.
On the other hand, the M Experience program will be packed with events, including après-ski at Remáscaro on Thursday the 10th and Saturday the 12th with resident DJs Irieix and Hektor, while on Saturday at Colladeta Vibes, DJ Audio Claudio will spin. Meanwhile, at the Tena Valley resort, Marsal Ventura will thrill all attendees with the best music on Saturday the 12th.
ACTIVITIES TO END THE SEASON
On April 19 , Formigal-Panticosa will close out the season with the exciting Bye Bye Winter event. The day kicks off with the fun Tropical Descent at Anayet, where skiers will show off their best beach attire. The fun continues with the traditional “water slide” challenge, in which participants attempt to cross a pool without falling into the water. This challenge will be accompanied by a DJ on the Anayet terrace.
To round off the day, the band Third Floor will perform live at the Marchica après ski event , with free admission for all attendees.
Meanwhile, Cerler will celebrate its season-ending party with activities for the little ones, such as bouncy castles and the traditional tropical descent, where skiers will descend the Ampriu slope in swimsuits. At 1:00 PM, the water slide will take place, followed by a concert of unforgettable pop and rock versions. The party will culminate with the Remáscaro Après-ski Closing Party at 4:30 PM, featuring the resident DJs and special guest Mario Ben.
