Based on the premise that there’s a greater chance of winning the Christmas Lottery jackpot this winter than seeing a collector’s Ferrari in Zaragoza, Mobility City improves that statistic with the opportunity to see up to
fourteen automotive gems from the legendary Italian brand in a single room. Fundación Ibercaja has managed to bring together these exclusive models from private collections, a dream come true for any car lover. The
“Passion and Legend” exhibition, on the Zaha Hadid Bridge until August 31, invites visitors not only to see, but also to hear the engine noise of these cars, transformed into authentic works of art.

“We didn’t just want to bring Ferrari to Mobility City, we wanted to bring the very best,” explained Ibón Ollero, content coordinator of the exhibition, which is being presented under the title “Passion and Legend. A Unique Selection of the Most Important Ferraris of Yesterday and Today .” In fact, the president of the Ibercaja Foundation stated at the presentation that “we are truly fortunate because only on rare occasions do these unique pieces leave Maranello.”

It speaks of the legendary Ferrari Museum in Maranello, located in a town in northern Italy in the province of Modena, 50 kilometers from Bologna. It’s no longer necessary to go there because these fourteen exclusive models are in Zaragoza. What’s more, these authentic works of automotive engineering can be visited within a work of art in itself: Zaha Hadid’s bridge, which has hosted the Mobility City project since its inception in 2018.

THE JEWEL IN THE CROWN: THE BIG 5, FROM THE F40 TO THE ENZO

Spreading out the different models that already occupy the room where the elegant and exclusive cars of the Rolls-Royce brand were also exhibited a few months ago, the first to capture the attention of the human eye are the so-called Big 5 . These are the F40 models , the most iconic Ferrari of all time ; Enzo , the only unit that exists in exposed carbon fiber; LaFerrari Aperta , a hybrid supercar in a convertible version; 288 GTO , the brand’s first supercar; and F50 , the first V12 in the Big 5.

The nine Ferrari models featured in the “Passion and Legend” exhibition are also dreamy limited editions, such as the SP1, a limited-edition tribute to classic Ferrari circuits; the SP2, its two-seater version; and the SP3, an exclusive tribute to 1960s Ferraris.

AN EXHIBITION THROUGH THE SENSES

The goal of this exhibition is to showcase a unique collection of various models from the legendary Italian brand, so that each visitor can enjoy a unique experience through the senses, combining hearing with sight . A goal worthy of what one expects when seeking to understand a Ferrari, a vehicle that, in addition to seeing, is essential to hear.

Ferrari is not only its design, but also the sound of its engines, its passion for speed, and its unique mechanics. Based on this idea, the exhibition has been conceived as an immersive experience in which visitors can also learn about the different Ferrari engines and mechanical components, through speakers where they can hear the sound of each car’s engine on display. In addition, several interactive screens have been set up to provide in-depth knowledge of each model and a more technical overview of each vehicle.

Also on display are the 250 SWB , characterized by its classic style both on and off the track; the 250 SWB California , a convertible designed for the American West Coast; the 250 GTO , the brand’s most famous racing car that defined Ferrari as we know it and one of the most sought-after cars in history; and the 275 GTB, which stands out for its great innovation.

In addition to this first batch of exclusive automotive wonders, other V12 Ferraris will also be on display, such as the 365 GT4 2+2 , a larger and more luxurious vehicle designed for long, comfortable journeys, and the Dino 246 GT, with a V6 ventral engine.

The exhibition’s opening hours at Mobility City are from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Sundays and public holidays are from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The last entry to the museum will always be one hour before closing time.

The standard rate is 10 euros ; the reduced rate for Ibercaja customers, children and adolescents aged 5 to 18, and seniors over 65 is 5 euros. For groups of at least 10 people , admission is 8 euros , and for people with disabilities, it is 1 euro. Reduced rates are also available for Youth Card holders, the unemployed, and school staff.

POSSIBILITY TO DRIVE A FERRARI

In addition to the exhibition, visitors to Mobility City will have the opportunity to “drive” a Ferrari in the simulators located at the top of the Zaha Hadid Bridge, through an experience that will make them feel like a real Formula 1 driver.

The passion that driving an exclusive vehicle like a Ferrari has always inspired, combined with the legend that accompanies this legendary brand, come together in the new exhibition organized by the Ibercaja Foundation at Mobility City. This is yet another example of the organization’s commitment to offering unique experiences and opportunities at the Zaha Hadid Bridge, which can be enjoyed for the first time in the Aragonese capital.
