The Wave technology congress will hold its second edition from 19 to 21 March and will include the
“Hacking the Future” hackathon, where multidisciplinary teams will be able to develop innovative projects in sectors such as mobility, aeronautics or territorial development. The competition, sponsored by Microsoft, will award three prizes of 2,500, 1,500 and 750 euros.

The teams, made up of entrepreneurs, programmers, designers or students, will have the support of experts who will guide them through each part of the process from conceptualization to the final process.

Hacking the future, which will take place in Etopia, will begin its activity on March 18 with the explanation of the process and the selection of the projects that will be developed until the 19th, day in which the prizes will be awarded within the framework of The Wave. The contest has the collaboration of Tecnara, ITA and the City Council of Zaragoza.

THE WAVE

The second edition of The Wave technology congress will be held from March 19 to 21 at the Zaragoza Conference Centre with a national and international vocation, following the success achieved in May 2024. The congress has already announced its first international speakers with the presence of executives such as Sasha Rubel, Head of Public Policies for Generative AI, Europe, Middle East and Africa at AWS; Eoin Doherty, Vice President and Regional Director for EMEA at Microsoft; Jacques Pommeraud, President and CEO of the Inetum Group; and María Martí, CEO and founder of Zero Error.

One of the great novelties of this second edition is the celebration on Friday 21 of the so-called The Wave Invest. In this intensive day, the most promising technological startups will compete to turn their innovations into the next success stories of the Spanish ecosystem. An event that has already confirmed its first speakers, Romuald Fons and Yaiza Canosa, two of the most significant national references for the entrepreneurial world.
