This place is Sarvisé, a charming village in Sobrarbe, in the province of Huesca, which stands out for its privileged surroundings and its resemblance to the land of the rising sun. Its Otal Peak, with its triangular silhouette, has led some to compare it to Mount Fuji, making it a special destination among the beautiful villages of Aragon.

SARVISÉ IN HUESCA, THE SPANISH VILLAGE WITH ITS OWN MOUNT FUJI

Sarvisé, located at the gates of the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park, is an ideal destination for nature and photography lovers. In fact, many influencers have not hesitated to visit the area to show this Huesca town on their social networks and affirm its similarity to Japan. Its mountainous landscape, its typical Pyrenean stone houses and its peaceful atmosphere make this corner a perfect place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city.

WHAT TO SEE (AND DO) IN SARVISÉ

Sarvisé is much more than its mountains and its Japanese memory. Visitors can enjoy hiking trails through the Broto Valley, where forests and rivers create an idyllic setting. It is also possible to go on horseback rides organised by the villagers, a perfect activity to explore the surroundings in a different way.

For lovers of cultural tourism, Sarvisé preserves the traditional architecture of the Pyrenees, with stone houses and slate roofs. In addition, a few kilometres away is Torla, the gateway to Ordesa, from where numerous excursions depart to some of the most spectacular landscapes of the Pyrenees.

Furthermore, from the town of Huesca, hikers can take many excursions to the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park.

Within the town of Huesca, you can visit the hermitage of San Cristóbal, whose interior shows two different spaces: the nave and the chancel.

HOW TO GET TO SARVISÉ

To get to Sarvisé from Huesca, the best option is to take the N-330 road to Sabiñánigo and then continue along the N-260 towards Broto. From there, Sarvisé is just a few kilometres away, on a route that allows you to enjoy impressive landscapes.

If you are travelling from Zaragoza, take the A-23 towards Huesca and then follow the same route via the N-330 and N-260. The journey by car takes approximately two hours.

From Teruel, the most recommended option is to follow the A-23 to Huesca and continue along the N-330 and N-260 until you reach Sarvisé. Although the trip is longer, lasting approximately three hours, the route allows you to cross various natural landscapes and enjoy the charm of the beautiful villages of Aragon. There are also public transport options, with buses to Broto and the possibility of taking a taxi or walking to Sarvisé.
