The most beautiful and well-known love story in Aragon will be performed again from 20 to 23 February in Teruel. As every year, the city travels back to 1217 to witness the wedding of Isabel de Segura and Diego de Marcilla. The capital of Teruel becomes a medieval town full of tents, exhibitions and scenes typical of the period, where visitors and locals participate in the activities that the city and the Isabel Wedding Foundation prepare for those days.

The Isabel de Segura Wedding 2025 has already been announced in a summary of the activities, with events spread over the different days that the performance lasts and in different parts of the city, so that the whole city is filled with the medieval spirit and love that characterizes this festival.

On Thursday 20th, Teruel begins its preparations and announces the marriage between Isabel de Segura and Pedro de Arzaga with the representation of the scene “Las mujeres deshabitadas” . The following days, the story of Los Amantes will unfold through the streets of the historic centre of Teruel with scenes such as the Wedding of Isabel de Segura and Pedro de Azagra, on Friday morning, the return of Diego de Marcilla and the Request for a kiss from Isabel, on Saturday afternoon, as well as Diego’s funeral procession, Isabel’s death or the Romance of the blind man on Sunday.

The four days of performance will end with the Invitation to a Kiss and the Beats of the Drums and Bass Drums , which will take place in the Plaza del Seminario and will put an end to days full of love, history and activities for all ages.
