The Aramón Group has closed the 2024/2025 season with a very positive balance, reaching 1.056 million skiers. A milestone that would not have been possible without the work of the team that has made it possible to offer a unique experience to visitors.
During the 129 days of skiing this season, depths of up to 185 centimetres have been recorded and more than 10.5 million kilometres have been skied by members of the Aramón Club alone.
The season began before Christmas, favoring the arrival of visitors at key dates. This early arrival was made possible thanks to investment in new snowmaking systems, capable of producing nearly 3 million cubic meters of snow. This project is part of an implementation plan supported by investments from the Government of Aragon, through the Pyrenees Plan, and the Teruel Investment Funds (FITE).
Among the main new features is the incorporation of Snow Factory technology at the Formigal-Panticosa resort, which has offered an efficient service in the Sextas beginners’ area, allowing beginners to enjoy skiing from day one.
This new snowmaking system includes improvements in sustainability, one of the Aramón Group ‘s strategic pillars. The modernization of the facilities has reduced energy consumption by 31%, thereby lowering CO₂ emissions . All the energy used by the group is 100% renewable.
Furthermore, the company has opted for the use of biofuels, solar self-consumption, and environmental initiatives such as reforestation, the elimination of plastics, and oil and rubber recycling programs. All of this reinforces its circular economy model and its commitment to preserving the natural landscape.
HOTEL OCCUPANCY OF MORE THAN 90%
During the months of January and February, considered the most attractive for skiing, the resorts recorded figures similar to record seasons. Average hotel occupancy exceeded 90% during the weekends, largely thanks to the role of the Aramón Travel Agency, which allows travelers to combine accommodation and ski passes , achieving a turnover of more than €15 million.
The group’s leisure offering has included nearly 300 sporting and musical events, attracting diverse audiences. It has also broken records for school groups, promoting skiing among young people.
In recent months, the resorts have hosted events such as the 1st FIS, the Spanish DPD-Inclusive Championship, the Terrain Park F3st, and the Miniyetis Trophy in Formigal-Panticosa. In Cerler, the Pitarroy Trophy, with more than 300 children participating, and the Freeride World Tour Qualifier have also been held, consolidating its position as a leading resort for its snow conditions.
MARCHICA EXPERIENCE
The combination of skiing and music has been one of the pillars of this campaign. The Marchica Experience concept offered shows on ten stages spread across the group’s four resorts, with artists such as Wade, Deborah de Luca, Chelina Manuhutu, and Alvama Ice. The Cerler après-ski resort, Remáscaro, also featured DJ sets from Michenlo, Carlos Jean, and Andrea Vandall.

In terms of gastronomy, Aramón has reinforced its commitment with spaces such as Asador Montañés in Sarrios, the Michelin-starred menu at Las Mugas with La Era de los Nogales , or the Colladeta hamburger , designed in conjunction with Casa Arcas.
Aramón remains committed to the economic and social development of the region. This year, Formigal celebrated its 60th anniversary and was recognized with the Medal of Tourism Merit, a reflection of its role in the growth of the valleys.
The group generates more than 13,000 direct and indirect jobs, and the economic impact of the stations amounts to 350 million euros, representing 7% of Aragon’s GDP and 10% of the province of Huesca.
In addition, Aramón has increased its smart sensor network (IoT) by 30%, moving toward the concept of smart ski resorts, with improved control and efficient resource management.
