The Air Horizont company, as part of its “Getaways” program , has scheduled a flight to Berlin from Zaragoza that will take off on October 2 and return on the 6th. The flight will depart from Zaragoza Airport to Berlin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 2 , and will return on Sunday, October 6, at 6:00 p.m. The journey is direct with a duration of 2 hours and 45 minutes and tickets are already on sale for approximately 300 euros round trip.

BERLIN CATHEDRAL (BERLINER DOM)
One of Berlin’s most iconic sites is its famous cathedral (Berliner Dom), which stands on the banks of the Spree River. EAST SIDE GALLERY
The Berlin Wall, which had an extension of more than 150 kilometers and which surrounded and separated the area of the Berlin capital within the Federal Republic of Germany (West Berlin) from the capital of the Federal Republic of Germany (East Berlin), was standing from 1961 to 1989 and is one of the greatest symbols of the Cold War .
Although pieces of wall can be seen throughout the city, the most iconic area left standing is the so-called East Side Gallery in Friedrichshain, an open-air gallery with more than 100 murals that stretch across 1 .3 kilometers and which recount the political changes in 1990 since the fall of the wall.
One of the most recognizable works is the kiss between Leonid Brezhnev, communist leader of the Soviet Union, and Erich Honecker, communist leader of the German Democratic Republic.
BRANDENBURG GATE
Another point on the itinerary that travelers visiting Berlin cannot miss is the Brandenburg Gate, which stands on Paris Square. It was inaugurated in 1791, in a neoclassical style, and is called that because it was the beginning of the road that leads to the city that gives it its name.
It is a symbol of the German capital that has witnessed numerous historical episodes.
MONUMENT TO THE MURDERED JEWS
Very close to the Brandenburg Gate stands the imposing Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, also known as the Holocaust Memorial. It is a 19,000 square meter inclined field where there are 2,700 concrete slabs that vary in height and create a kind of labyrinth to commemorate the Jews who were victims of the Holocaust.
SACHENHAUSEN CONCENTRATION CAMP
The excursion to the Sachenhausen concentration camp is the most famous, just half an hour by train from the German capital. Built in 1936 and released on April 22, 1945 , more than 200,000 prisoners were held within its walls . Once the war ended, it became a special Soviet camp, the largest in the occupation zone.
