With less than two days to go before the bikes roar back and race around the MotorLand track, the Mobility City in Zaragoza, alongside Marc Márquez’s Ducati Gresini, has presented this Wednesday the Aragón GP, which returns after a year of absence from the MotoGP championship. All the spotlights will be on this weekend in Alcañiz, where more than 300 million people will be glued to their televisions to enjoy the fight for the championship, which is red hot with a difference of just five points between Jorge Martín and the leader of the category, Pecco Bagnaia.

The event held on Wednesday was attended by the Minister for the Environment and Tourism, Manuel Blasco, who praised the motor race as “the most important sporting event in Aragon” due to its international relevance. The world motorcycling event will welcome more than 100,000 people this weekend and will have a “ great economic impact not only on the municipality of Alcañiz, but also on the rest of the region”, as Blasco pointed out. The Minister and president of the MotorLand Aragón circuit did not want to end his speech without recalling the “exclusivity of Alcañiz as one of the 22 cities in the world to host one of the most important motor races in the world”.

The presentation was also attended by representatives of Dorna Sports , the company that organises the Moto GP championship, represented by Alberto Castillo, who congratulated Aragón in general and the Alcañiz circuit in particular for “holding the fifteenth edition of the Aragón GP at MotorLand, one of the favourite and benchmark circuits for the riders”, winning the award for the best race of the season on three occasions.

Fans will be able to enjoy the “MotorLand Fan Festival” this weekend, a commercial venue that will be located behind grandstand seven, where there will be musical performances, food stalls, breaks and the celebration of the podium of the sprint race on Saturday .

On Sunday, 600 fans will enjoy the Hero Walk to meet their favourite drivers and the track invasion after Sunday’s race to end the MotorLand party.
