Zaragoza’s biggest video game event ZGamer will restart the game during the Fiestas del Pilar

Once again, coinciding with the Fiestas del Pilar, video game and eSports lovers will meet at the largest event for gamers in Aragon . We are talking about the already established ZGamer, which will open its doors between October 11 and 13 in the Multipurpose Room of the Zaragoza Auditorium with free entry.  

During these three days, fans who come will be able to enjoy more than 170 stands spread across racing computers, consoles, virtual reality and driving simulators. It will be a fully themed space for the occasion, with tournaments, raffles, streaming, freeplay stands and an arcade area for the most nostalgic. 

The nerve center of the event will be the main stage where some of the most famous gamers on the national scene will perform. Among the highlighted presentations, on Friday there will be a Minecraft Show where you can see Shadoune , Nia Lakshart and Suzyroxx playing, as well as going up to play with them. In the afternoon session on Saturday, the gamers Mayichi and Suzyroxx will take the stage  , and on Sunday morning the finals of the Valorant tournament will be held. 

In addition, the Multipurpose Room will be divided into “game arenas”, spaces specialized in video games such as Fortnite, Valorant, Minecraft, Full Guys or Just Dance. In addition to these, there will be demonstrations of other games such as League of Legends, EA Sports FC24 and Fall Guys tournaments, among many others. In the various arenas, young attendees will be able to accumulate “tokens”, which can be exchanged at the gamification stand for prizes such as gaming headsets, console controllers, Bluetooth headphones or speakers. 

The various municipal eSports academies Cierzo, Augua and ZETA will also have their gaming stations. The novelty of this edition is the ‘Circuito Tomenta’ fan zone, with surprises, challenges, activities and prizes for attendees, as well as a photocall with augmented reality. 

The doors of ZGamer will open on Friday, October 11 from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday, October 12 and 13, in the morning, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and in the afternoon, from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. 

MORE ACTIVITIES, WITH MUSICALS  

As part of the programme for the youngest during these Fiestas del Pilar, the Teodoro Sánchez Punter civic centre is offering two musicals. One of them will be “ Murder in the Circus ”, also adapted in sign language by the Manos que contar Group. It will be on Thursday, 10 October at 6:30 pm with an entrance fee of 6 euros. 

The next event is the musical “ Heathers ”, a work acclaimed worldwide for its dark humour and social commentary, which addresses issues such as bullying and teenage violence. It will be presented by the Company Puede ser Especial, a resident group of the LaZentral project in the Zona Joven Delicias, on Friday 11 October at 5:00 pm. In this case, the advance ticket will be 10 euros, while at the box office it will cost 12 euros.
