The National Technical Committee, made up of representatives of the ADR Forum (Spanish Association of Regional Development Agencies), including the Aragonese Institute for Development and ENISA (National Innovation Company), has concluded the selection process for the 101 winning companies of the 1st Edition of the TOP101 Spain Up Nation Awards for entrepreneurship with impact in Spain. Among them, four Aragonese companies stand out:

Zepren Solutions: CEEI Aragón company dedicated to the design, production and B2B marketing of test and measurement equipment for the telecommunications and solar thermal energy industries, as well as custom developments based on spectrometric and optoelectronic technologies.

Acceptable: CEEI Aragón Company that, in a single process, generates contracts, inserts them into a blockchain, obtaining immutable proof, makes payments and functionalities such as microinsurance, or online conflict resolution systems using a neutral legal environment that surpasses the traditional concept of “contract”.

Sistemiza Fluids Handling: They offer global integration solutions for fluid control and handling systems that are present in various scenes of our daily lives and, therefore, also in economic activity.

Si-Recycle: Responds to the growing problem of photovoltaic waste accumulation by efficiently and sustainably recycling WEEE from photovoltaic modules that have reached their end of life or are out of use due to breakage.

The TOP101 awards were created with the aim of recognising and supporting innovative companies with a clear impact in the social and/or environmental sphere. The Aragonese Institute for Development and the other Regional Development Agencies of the autonomous communities and autonomous cities of Spain have participated as regional organisers, working jointly with Foro ADR and ENISA to identify the companies with the greatest potential for growth, impact and capacity to generate employment.

The quality and number of applications received demonstrate the potential of Spanish entrepreneurship to contribute to the economic and social development of the country. The success of this call is a testament to the talent and creativity that emerge from startups in Spain.

In addition to recognizing and supporting innovative entrepreneurship, these awards aim to promote, share and spread the keys to innovation to transform projects and companies into new production, distribution and consumption models that are more competitive, sustainable and exportable; to make visible companies with added value, innovative, technological and creative, with the potential to compete in the global market; and to identify companies that, due to their social, economic and environmental impact, add value to society, contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

The final gala of the first edition of these awards will be held on November 4 at the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones in Córdoba, where the 19 most impactful innovative companies (one per autonomous community/city) will be announced. They will be chosen by an expert jury and will become ambassadors of the Spain Up Nation brand, promoted by ENISA to position Spain as a world leader in innovative entrepreneurship.

In addition, the TOP101 companies will receive the TOP101 Spain Up Nation seal as recognition for the most innovative companies with the greatest impact on the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Spain; a networking agenda; and B2B sessions with investors, customized training for the company and pitch deck training (training for express sessions), benefiting from direct approval of the innovation level of the startup certification.
