The most widely read writer in Spain will bid farewell to his best-selling saga in Zaragoza

The author of “Red Queen” will talk with readers in Zaragoza in a talk on December 3 at 7:00 p.m.

He is the most widely read writer in the Spanish language. At least, that’s what the cover of his new book says, which is also the last in a saga that has sold more than five million books worldwide. Juan Gómez-Jurado thus bids farewell to the “Reina roja” phenomenon, to the sadness of all those who have been hooked on the story of Antonia Scott and Jon Gutiérrez. It is precisely this Tuesday, November 5, when “Todo muere” went on sale, a declaration of intent that closes the circle and that will be presented on December 3 in Zaragoza.

Juan Gómez-Jurado will be speaking with readers that day at the Teatro Principal at 7:00 p.m. in a free-entry event. After writing “El paciente”, “Cicatriz”, “Reina roja”, “Loba negra”, “Rey blanco”, “Todo arde” and “Todo volví”, the writer and journalist from Madrid will discuss the end of an era with readers.

Her novels have been translated into more than 40 languages ​​and “Reina roja” and “Cicatriz” have been adapted to the screen with two series on Prime Video and RTVE respectively. In fact, “Reina roja” was the most watched Spanish series premiere in history, already surpassing four million viewers. Currently, the second part of the saga (“Loba negra”) is already being prepared, starring Vicky Luengo and Hovik Keuchkerian.

In addition to writing best-selling novels, Gómez-Jurado also collaborates with different media outlets and is the co-creator of two podcasts, one of them shared with filmmaker Rodrigo Cortés (“Todopoderosos”).
