December is one of the best months of the year to travel, not only because cities are filled with a Christmas atmosphere but also because it is a festive time. This 2024, the Constitution long weekend is four days long, covering two holidays: from Friday, December 6 (Constitution Day) to Monday, December 9, which is moved from the 8th (Immaculate Conception).
In addition, there are the Christmas (December 25) and New Year (January 1) holidays, which, although this year both fall on a Wednesday, can be a good opportunity to take a getaway, something that can be done without leaving the Aragonese capital, both with scheduled charter flights and with the fixed offer from Zaragoza Airport.
As for charter flights, the options range from visiting Santa’s snowy workshop in Lapland, through the mysteries of Egyptian civilization or the desert in Morocco, to cruising the Douro River and discovering Porto. Here are all the trips available.
- Lapland (Finland): from November 30 to December 4. From €4,000/person.
- Egypt and Abu Simbel : 2-9 December. From 2,800 euros/person.

On the other hand, the routes already established since November 1 after the start of the autumn-winter 2024 calendar are maintained as a fixed offer . Thus, during the months of December and January Ryanair operates from Zaragoza to Paris, Venice, Brussels, Marrakech, London, Milan and Santiago de Compostela; Wizzair to Cluj Napoca and Bucharest (Romania) and Vueling to Palma de Mallorca.
